Provo River Brown Trout

Half Day Walk and Wade

Half day trips take place on either the Provo or Weber Rivers. This trip is 4 hours of time on the river. We offer 7am and 12pm start times. These times can be adjusted seasonally and possibly at the client’s request.

Full Day Walk and Wade

These trips are 7 hours of on the river time, including lunch. They allow for clients to fish more water and see some of the different bug hatches that come off during the day. While you do not need to be a diehard angler to enjoy the full day, we find kids under the age of 14 enjoy the half day options more.

FAQs

  • Your guide will provide all waders, boots, rods, flies and other terminal tackle. Your guide will also have water and snacks available on Half Day Trips. Our Full Day Trips include a lunch provided by your guide as well.

  • Here is a list of items we have found will add to your enjoyment and comfort during your trip…

    • Warm Socks. Most of our rivers come from the bottom of a dam, providing COLD water all year long.

    • Comfortable pants. Light pants are a great option for under your waders in the Summer, but Winter trips are most enjoable with a warm layer (or two).

    • A light jacket or sweatshirt for those cool Summer mornings.

    • A baseball hat. Great for keeping the sun off your eyes.

    • Sunglasses. Great for both eye protection and keeping the water’s glare out of your eyes.

    • A Utah fishing license. Licenses can be purchased through the Utah DWR website through the link below. They are $24 for 3 days of Non-resident fishing. Kids under 12 do not need a license.

  • Your guide will contact you prior to 5pm the day before your fly-fishing trip. They will talk to you about a meet location and confirm the meet up time for you and your group. Our guides take pride in putting you on the best fishing, so the meet up location may vary seasonally, but most rivers are within 45 minutes of the Park City area, and an hour of Salt Lake City.
